You Will Need
Gold Leather Paper & pen for template Scissors GlitteryEmbroidery Thread in gold or silver Double band metal Hairband Sewing Needle
Step 1
For this project, you'll a double band metal hairband and some gold leather.
Step 2
Create a paper template in a simple leaf shape that you like and trace around it as many times as you can onto the back of the leather.
Step 3
Cut out the leather leaves.
Step 4
Tie the embroidery thread to the base of one side of the headband.
Step 5
Thread the embroidery floss onto a needle and stitch through the first leather leaf, knotting it to the headband.
Step 6
Then stitch up the leaf, in the design of a stem and attach the top of the leaf back to the headband.
Step 7
Add a few stem lines at either side of the leaf.
Step 8
Attach the second leaf below the first, jutting out to one side and repeat the stitches similar to the ones you made on the first leaf.
Step 9
Continue adding leaves in the same way until you're happy with your design. You can cover the whole hairband like I did or just half for a more asymmetrical
