Welcome to the DSRL 200K Sportscar Championship!

The DSRL returns to the leagues original series and will once again feature a multi class style of racing held over 9 rounds. Each round will contested over 9 rounds utilising all the new tracks offered by Project CARS 2. Cars eligible will be the new Ligier JS P2 cars in the Prototype class and the GT class will be for the GTE/GTLM spec cars.

The 200K Sportscar series will be utilising all of Project CARS 2s' new features to bring a more immersive 'sim' racing experience. Forced cockpits, no driving line, formation laps, manual pitstops will be become part of the norm in the DSRL. Skill, hard work and dedication will push the best to the front of the grid.

Teams championships will return for the first time since late 2016 and is expected to be hotly contested. Teams will be allowed to feature up to 3 drivers with a maximum of 2 scoring points. There is also an Independents Trophy up for grabs for drivers going solo in the championship. Drivers that have previously won an overall championship are excluded from the Independents Trophy, however previous Division 2 Champions are not.

Weather is a big part of Project Cars 2 and will be a factor in the Championship so do not expect every round to dry. Weather will be announced the week before each race so ensure each team/driver has an equal opportunity for practice and setup. In game qualifying and race start times will vary across the series so be prepared for dealing with all track conditions.

Qualifying will begin at 8pm UK time and will run for a duration of 15 minutes. Drivers will be expected to put in their best lap during this time and then all drivers will be put together and race finals will be calculated. Lobbies will be equally split to make up each final compromising of both Prototype and GT classes.

Each race will then run to a race distance of 200 kilometres or as close to over that number. There will be a mandatory pitstop where all cars will be required to at least change tyres.

The season starts on October 15th and will run each week with a break after round 5.

See you on track!!!
