Description
Hacking is building things that you always wanted to have but no one has built it yet. It's to come up with an amazing idea and work tirelessly on it. It is to fail, fail again and fail better. Try out new things and learn while doing that. It's to work together, collaborate and build things that are innovative. It is to be a better programmer.
With that spirit, Graphic Era Hill University is conducting a series of hackathon - Omnithon 2018 and invites all students of Graphic Era Hill University to participate in an interesting and engaging hackathons.
The spirit of The Competition:
Remember that hackathons are like marathons. Some people go to compete but most people take part to better themselves and have fun. Whatever the reason is you're at a hackathon, make sure you're upholding the hacker spirit by collaborating with other teams, helping beginners, and having fun.
General information of the Omnithon:
1.The hackathon will start at Nov 17, 2018 09:00 AM IST and end at Nov 18, 2018 09:00 AM IST
2.Hackathon are open to Students of Graphic Era Hill University and 3.Graphic Era (Deemed to be University).
4.The venue is Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun.
5.Free Entry and Multi-Events Participation allowed. Students who will participate for full 24 hours will only be considered for cash prizes.
6.Students have to work on their hack during the allotted time only.
7.University Canteen will be open during the hackthon.
8.University's buses will leave by 5 pm on 17 Nov, 2018.
9.The students who are participating can leave the hack only at 4.45 pm on 17 Nov if they wish. There is no other exit from hack after this time.
If parents wants to visit during the events, they can come.
10.Event team and faculty will be available 24 hours.
